My Top Four Photo Sharing Tips

Photo Sharing Tips - Annapolis Wedding Photographer

You did your research, hired an awesome photographer, and are loving the collection of images that you just received. How are you supposed to share them with your friends and family in a way that won’t leave anyone feeling left out?

Here are my four favorite ways to easily share your most treasured images with your loved ones:

Photo Sharing Option #1 – Post on Social Media

Everyone has their own comfort levels when it comes to sharing on their social profiles, but this is by far the most common option for sharing images on a large scale. Whether you want to share the blog post that your images are featured on or a link to the final gallery of images that you’ve received, I invite you to go ahead and share it with your family and friends on Facebook and beyond!

Did you know that I share a sneak peek of images with every bride and groom the day after their wedding day? I love that my couples get to enjoy their images while they’re still in wedding mode. If you have any kind of trouble sharing the links I give you, let me know and I’ll help you sort it out.

While you’re sharing, don’t forget to tag your friends and family in the appropriate images!

Photo Sharing Option #2 – Prints

Hang large prints on the wall, frame others for your side tables or mantles, and tuck away the extras in a special heirloom box. Whatever you decide to do with them, be sure to print your images! I can’t say it enough… photos deserve to be printed and enjoyed on a daily basis. Don’t let them get lost inside your computer forever. They deserve better. YOU deserve better.  <3

Photo Sharing Tip #3 – Albums

Flipping through the thick pages of a beautifully designed photo album makes my heart sing. What better way to enjoy your full collection of images than by having a custom album created specifically for your photo session? Set it on your coffee table or let it adorn the mantle of your fireplace and share it with all who visit your home.

Photo Sharing Tip #4 – Holiday Cards and Notes

Printed holiday photo cards are an excellent way to share your most recent family portraits. Be sure to choose the printer carefully in order make sure you get a high-quality product that will print the image the way it was intended (not all printers are created equal.)

Not quite holiday card time but want to share your photos via snail mail? You’re totally my style! Have a few ‘just because’ photo notecards printed and put your pen to paper. Friends and family members will enjoy receiving a handwritten note and seeing your beautiful face.

You might even consider using an image from your wedding day sneak peek as a ‘thank you note’ for your wedding guests.
