Wedding Dress Trends of 2019

If you’re planning your own Royal Wedding, then being on trend with the latest wedding dress designs is absolutely vital! Whatever you do, be sure to find one that best suits your body type and personality. You might also want to make sure that it’s comfortable or that you’re at least able to sit in it, right?  😉

Here’s a quick list of gorgeous options that I’m seeing brides glow in this year.

Trend #1 – Zodiac Prints

If you’re into prints with stars and moons, this is totally the trend for you. If you aren’t quite ready for a full print, try incorporating this trend in your accessories. Think hair pieces, jewelry, and footwear.

Trend #2 – Textures

A little lace can add an extraordinary amount of pop to even the simplest of dresses. Deep textures including floral laces will give any dress shape a beautiful softness and natural movement.

Trend #3 – Capes

The catwalk is full of capes this season! Long, short, light, heavy. Do what works best with your dress and don’t forget about incorporating the vail! A cape may be the perfect accent to your overall bridal look in 2018.

Trend #4 – Collared Dresses

Are you an edgy bride who wants to break out of the mold and wow guests? The next time you’re at the bridal boutique, ask if they have any collared dresses available for you to try on. These styles are fierce and so versatile, as the neckline can be paired with any sleeve or dress length and a number of dreamy fabrics.

Trend #5 – Detached Sleeves

If you’d love to have sleeves at the church and then go sleeveless at the reception, this may be the perfect option for you. Detachable sleeves allow you to change up your look without actually purchasing a second dress. Win, win!

Trend #6 – Colors

White is tradition, but soft colors are totally in. Pale pinks, floral prints, and soft greens are being seen all over this year.

When planning my own wedding, something I quickly learned is that it’s hard to know what the dress will look like until you actually try it on. My challenge for you, is to keep an open mind and try something new. No matter how fashion forward or traditional you choose to be, I hope you find the dress of your dreams!  <3 Hannah
