Since at least half of my weddings take place in the Annapolis area, I am so lucky to be able to meet up with my clients ahead of time for Annapolis engagement sessions. So many of them choose to be photographed in downtown Annapolis since it makes an absolutely darling backdrop for couples in love.
I have photographed so many incredible downtown Annapolis engagement sessions—in summer, fall, winter, and spring. I love capturing my couples in such an exciting season of life, while showing off the time of year in the city. While the summer light is amazing, there is something so special about autumn in Annapolis, too.
Briana and Andrew’s early fall Annapolis engagement session is a top favorite for sure! We lucked out with warm weather and a lovely sunset. They embraced the season (and nice weather!) for a stunning set of photographs in the city.
The pair chose Annapolis as the backdrop for their engagement session because they live right downtown! They wanted to show off where they live during this exciting stage of life. So we decided to photograph them doing what they spend most of their time doing: walking the streets of beautiful Annapolis, Maryland!
I love the notion that they will be able to think of their happy memories in downtown when looking back on these Annapolis engagement photographs. And with chemistry like theirs, they will be able to feel their love too! The pair is so effortlessly affectionate and natural in front of the camera.
It is so sweet to see the way that they look at one another, and I feel fortunate to have had the chance to capture this for them! The photos on the porch with pumpkins make for the perfect fall vignette, and they are truly a perfect couple.
