Without a doubt, I am the most honored when I have clients who return to me time and time again for photography sessions. I can’t tell you how often I am hired to shoot a couple’s engagement session or wedding and later on am hired for the next big milestones in life. From their anniversaries to newborn sessions to extended family sessions, I love getting to work with the same clients in different settings.
As a Charleston family photographer, it is the most amazing feeling to be able to have repeat clients—to pop in on the small moments and the big milestones in a family’s life. And having the chance to photograph these moments and ingrain them in history forever is even better!
The Walker family is a perfect example of dream repeat clients. I have now had the honor and privilege of photographing this sweet family six times! SIX. Each photo session we’ve shared has been a wonderful memory, and baby Wyatt’s newborn session is no exception.
This in-home, Charleston family photo session is one of my all-time favorites! We photographed this lifestyle newborn session over the summer on a warm afternoon. The afternoon was filled with gorgeous light that filled their perfectly decorated home in the loveliest way. Can you believe all of that beautiful décor? And of course, the afternoon was also filled with lots of precious newborn snuggles!
It was so fun to be able to photograph mom and dad’s interactions with their darling new member of the family. Their looks of adoration were so easy to capture. But I especially loved capturing the sweet interactions between baby Wyatt and his big sister! She showed so much interest in the new addition to the family; she shared lots of hugs and kisses all afternoon! And she really has the big sister role down; I even caught her rocking her mermaid doll like a newborn!
