Today we have a fun behind the scenes look into our styled shoot.
This past Monday, eleven wedding vendors came together to create a stunning styled shoot in Gaithersburg, MD. The goal of the shoot was to showcase vendors talent and work for potential brides and grooms getting married. It was a huge success and I can not be more proud to have worked with so many amazing and talented people.
Part of the day included having a behind the scenes photographer documenting all of our talented vendors working and creating. I’m so glad we decided to do this because I really feel like it helps show how much work, effort, and talent goes into making your wedding day the best that it can be!
We had five vendors on site, setting up, styling hair, makeup and flowers. As well as myself and two other ladies that helped with anything we needed! I was so thankful to have everyone there, so without further adieu, here they all are in action!
NoLo Weddings and Events were the planners working side by side with me for the past three months. Styling, organizing, contacting vendors, and so much more. Thousands of texts, hundreds of emails, and so many phone calls later they did a phenomenal job in planning and designing this styled shoot with me. I could not have done this without them. Need a planner? They are your girls!!
Love Tag Design created these stunning menus, invitations, place cards and envelopes. All of them were hand painted!! How amazing right?!
The Yummery made this beautiful (and delicious) cake for the shoot. They went with a “bare” look which was then covered with flowers. It went perfect with the whole natural, boho theme of the shoot.
2Hands Studios and XOXO Vintage supplied all of the rentals for the shoot and they couldn’t have been more perfect! We had mix and match vintage china, beautiful lanterns, bird cages, and candle votives for the table. We also had the cutest personalized vintage silverware from Sweet Thymes. The whole look was tied together with the beautiful table and chairs from XOXO Vintage. (I can’t wait to show you more!)
Hair and makeup was styled by Ryan with Blend and Danielle from Amie Decker Beauty. Both of them killed it with the look and creativity for the bride and groom. I had worked with Ryan before on a wedding and will always jump at a chance to work with her again. She is a joy to work with and always does a phenomenal job with all of her brides.
This was the first time I had the pleasure of working with Danielle and she did a fabulous job. I told her what look I was going for and she did exactly that. It tied in perfectly with the flower crown that was made for the bride.
Colleen with 41st Flower did an absolute stellar job! I really think her work was the topper on the cake and tied all of our details together to create the bohemian, natural look we were going for. From the table, to the cake, the boutonniere, bouquet and that stunning flower crown, she really did a fantastic job with every single detail. We all were so excited when we saw everything come together with her flowers and design. I would highly recommend Colleen to all of my brides!
After everything was ready and styled, we spent a few hours photographing the bride and groom. I had help from Maggie with Living Radiant Photography (and wow! I couldn’t have done this without her!). The whole team was absolutely amazing in helping me style the bride and groom, fix makeup, hair, the dress, etc and I am so incredibly thankful to each and every one of them.
