I’ve been wanting to create this blog post for a long time, so I’m thrilled to be finally sharing it with you all! As you may or may not know – Charleston, South Carolina is #2 wedding destination in the United States! (or so I’ve been told). So with all the popularity Charleston has, it’s not unlikely that you’ll run into two or three weddings on your weekend walk downtown. With Charleston being one of the top wedding destinations, it’s no wonder there is a plethora of wedding vendors to choose from (which, quite frankly, can become very overwhelming). Don’t worry! I’m here to help.
As a wedding photographer in Charleston for the past six years, I’ve met a ton of incredible wedding vendors that I would love to work with any day. So here is my top wedding vendor picks for who I think you should hire while planning your wedding.

The first thing you need to pick is your venue! There are so many stunning places to get married in Charleston, but here are my top five favorite wedding venues.

4. Historic Rice Mill
5. Old Wide Awake Plantation

Planners
I know it can be tough planning a wedding on your own, so what better way to ease your stress than to hire a planner? I highly recommend this step while planning your wedding. It will make the process smoother, easier, and more enjoyable for you. 🙂 If you can’t afford a full package from a wedding planner than ask to see if they have a day of planning package!
