Nora and Brad’s Billingsley House wedding day was perfect! It started off at National Harbor in Washington DC getting ready for their big day. Nora had a beautiful hotel room, matching robes for the girls, and a stunning morning. The guys got ready a few doors down and then all headed off to the Billingsley House for a first look and portraits before the wedding day.
Once at the house, I placed Brad in a quiet spot up on the hill and he waited for Nora to arrive. I’ve never seen a groom more thrilled to see his bride, it brought him (and to be honest, me) to tears. The wedding and reception were stunning with pops of burgundy and pink. The flowers and table settings were exquisite and not one detail was left out (Nora is a wedding planner, so we couldn’t expect anything less).
Nora and Brad had every single person they loved at the wedding! It was FULL of laughter, smiles, happy tears, and LOTS and LOTS of dancing (their friends really know how to tear up the dance floor). 🙂 I had so much fun photographing the entire wedding and I thought every single moment was perfect.
To top it all off, Nora and Brad had the most PERFECT sunset i’ve ever seen and despite the freezing weather (yea it was literally freezing) I can guarantee every single person had an absolute blast!
Nora and Brad, you guys sure know how to throw a party! Thank you for trusting me to be your wedding photographer. It was an absolute honor to be there capturing and celebrating your love.
