Every now and then I get the opportunity to reach outside my usual wedding and event photography and try something a little different. For this adorable session, I became an Annapolis family photographer! I’m so thankful that Greg and Heather invited me into their home to share these sweet moments with their brand new baby.
Rather than formal poses in a studio, Greg and Heather’s newly built home in Baltimore became the perfect backdrop for our lifestyle newborn session. The large windows allowed in the perfect amount of natural light for a peaceful and relaxed images. Isn’t this family just gorgeous?
Lifestyle photography is so lovely. It works for any type of session – maternity, newborn, family, milestones, etc. More than just the clothes you are wearing or how your hair is styled, lifestyle photos are a true representation of your life in that moment. They show some elements of your home and depict the way your family interacts with each other.
I’ve found that some families are hesitant to schedule this type of session because they aren’t sure how their home will photograph. I’m here to tell you, do not worry! If there’s something specific you dislike, let me know and I’ll be sure to avoid it. Otherwise, sit back and relax and allow me to capture your family just lovin’ on eachother.
I may set up a couple posed shots, but my ultimate goal is to capture you being… you! <3
