It’s that time of year again! Merry Christmas and happy holidays from Hannah Lane Photography! I cannot believe it’s time for another holiday season, which means another year in the books as a photographer. I am overwhelmed with gratitude when I think about 2018 and my career as a whole.
I am so thankful for the many clients who have become friends. I am thankful to have been entrusted with capturing such precious days and memories as an Annapolis and Charleston wedding photographer. I have loved meeting so many amazing families, celebrating weddings at picturesque venues, and making art with people I have grown to care so much about.
I often feel like nothing could top my latest year, but things just keep getting better and better, which I am so grateful for! It is so rewarding to see my business to continue to evolve and grow. And I recognize that this is entirely possible thanks to my amazing clients and the excellent vendors I have the pleasure of working with.
This year, I loved working with clients at stunning waterfront weddings in both Annapolis and Charleston, old estate weddings all along the East Coast, and family portrait sessions in lovely outdoor settings and cozy homes.
Looking back on this year particularly, it’s been very interesting to think about how I’ve grown not only as an artist but physically too! I photographed all of my 2018 weddings with an extra little helper in tow—my baby boy! Photographing Annapolis and Charleston weddings while pregnant was challenging at times, but it was always rewarding. And my clients treated me like gold during every step of my pregnancy!
It is even sweeter to look back on the year with this new baby in my arms. I love thinking about all of the joy I was able to witness and celebrate during this special time of year, as we celebrate so much joy during the Christmas season.
