Shelly + Dan’s Wedding Sneak Peak | Eastern Shore Wedding 

There’s not much more spectacular than a serene wedding on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and as an Annapolis wedding photographer, I’m lucky enough to have the chance to shoot several Eastern Shore weddings every single year!

And while I enjoy every wedding out on the shore, it is really fun to see the different ways my couple express their personalities, beliefs, and core values as they plan their wedding celebrations. Shelly and Dan’s intimate affair did just that—celebrated their love as well as what’s most important to them!

Dan and Shelly’s Swan Cove Manor wedding was the most joyful of days. The couple chose to keep it simple and focus on their families, so they had a small event of thirty guests. This allowed them to enjoy all of the precious moments with those they hold absolutely closest to them, and it created an incredible, emotional energy to surround the day.

This Eastern Shore wedding venue is nestled in rows of historic homes with breathtaking views of the Chesapeake, so Shelly and Dan took advantage of the holiday week and scenery and enjoyed life on the shore with their families! They stayed at various homes that are part of the venue and turned it into a destination wedding of sorts!

The forecast called for rain, but that did not dampen anyone’s spirits; after a sweet ceremony by the water, the couple enjoyed a romantic, bistro-lit dinner underneath a tent. Then, they continued celebrating with dancing and cake!

Shelly looked absolutely perfect in her flowy, ethereal gown, and there was just a happiness that radiated about them! They were so fun to photograph. There is just something about that coastal light that I cannot get enough of as a photographer! I loved how genuinely happy they looked and how perfectly everything came together.
