Today we celebrate Stephen and Alicia as they prepare to say their vows!
These two were so much fun to work with during their Washington DC engagement session! It’s easy to see how much they adore each other. I would catch Stephen gazing at his beautiful bride-to-be and Alicia just glowed with love.
I am thankful for the opportunity to get to know this gorgeous couple and I can’t wait to celebrate with them as they tie the knot later this evening.

What to Wear
Don’t let this one stump you, I’ve shared a few tips to help you get started here. Keep in mind that you are more than welcome to change your outfit midway through the session. If you have any questions about this, please email me.
Location, Location, Location
Is there a place that has a special meaning to you? Tell me all about it and we’ll try to work it into your session.
Props
While they are absolutely not required and your gorgeous ring is usually the focal piece for that kind of shots, simple props like the bouquet of flowers that Alicia held for a few of these photos can be a nice addition to your session.
Glasses or no glasses?
For someone who wears glasses on a daily basis, you’ll likely want to include them during your engagement photos like Stephen did. One thing to keep in mind though, is that I still want to see your beautiful eyes. That said, I recommend you leave the transition lenses at home.

So while it may feel a little awkward at first, please don’t be afraid to snuggle up, smile, giggle, cuddle, hug, kiss, dance, and most of all… please have fun!
