What to wear to your engagement photos?

Don’t worry, you are not alone! I’m pretty sure that everyone has that moment where they rip through their closets or run out to the mall to start coordinating outfits. Even with full wardrobes at your disposal, choosing pieces that will be used to mark this monumental moment in your life is a lot of pressure.

So where do you start and bottom line, what exactly do you wear? Here are a couple tips to help you get started:

Tip 1:  Get comfortable.

Snuggling with your sweetheart in front of a photographer that you’re just getting to know can be a little awkward on its own, so make things a little easier on yourself by wearing comfortable clothes!

Go ahead and skip any articles of clothing that are itchy, awkward, or just plain uncomfortable.

Tip 2:  Make it unique!

Think about all of the little things that make you and your relationship unique. Do you love sports or maybe have a hobby? Maybe you have a favorite thing to do together,or a special memory you’d like to incorporate. Tell me all about what sets you apart and we’ll figure out a way to work it into your engagement photos.

My goal is to create images that truly represent this incredible moment in your lives. So don’t worry about what your friend is doing or something you saw on pinterest, let’s focus on you and make these photos amazing!

Tip 3:  Relax.

Engagement photos have no rules. You can be as formal or laid back as you’d like. Whatever makes you happy and allows you to have fun during your session. You can even try a couple different outfits if you just can’t decide on one.
