Katayala Newborn Session | Maryland Newborn Photographer

There’s just something so special about when life comes full circle. This is one of the greatest parts of being an Maryland newborn photographer—having the honor to capture precious memories in all seasons of life and watching things come full circle.

Alicia and Mark are such an amazing couple, and I feel so blessed to have met them. And I feel even more blessed to have had the chance to document so many different seasons of their lives! I met Mark and Alicia in fall 2016 when I photographed their Jefferson Memorial engagement session. And then after photographing their gorgeous winter wedding in January 2017, I was able to photograph their soft and romantic maternity session by the water! And here we are in 2018; they have a brand new baby girl, and we have another set of beautiful images!

Baby Katayala’s in-home Maryland newborn photos are some of my favorites. Each day with a newborn baby is new and precious. I am so grateful for the opportunity to step inside the new, exciting everyday life of this darling family.

The adoration of Katayala’s parents is so apparent; they are smitten with their little one. And who wouldn’t be?! Katayala is a beautiful baby—such a sweet blessing. I loved her darling monogrammed onesie and selection of bows. She was an angel baby during the session and looks so serene and relaxed. She spent the afternoon snuggling with mom and dad and cozying up in her delicate swaddles.

It was such a blessing to be able to capture not only photos with Katayala’s parents but also with her grandma! This doesn’t always happen during newborn sessions, but I know it’s something that she will cherish as she grows. I was so happy with everything from this session—from the tiny toes to soft baby ears to perfect little hands—and am excited to share it with you today! Thank you for allowing me to continue to be part of your family’s memories, Alicia, Mark, and Katayala.
