In honor of our first week living back in Charleston; I am going to share a Downtown Charleston anniversary session I shot with the lovely Driscoll couple. I still can’t believe that I once again to get to live in this beautiful city, but now I am sharing it with my sweet husband and little boy. I’m so grateful for this business and how it’s allowed me to photograph sweet couples like this one all over the country.
The Driscolls and I hit a variety of my favorite downtown spots close to The Battery for some romantic shots dotted with sweeping oaks and Charleston architecture, colorful window boxes, walks along the water and a fabulous vintage model T. My particular favorites were of the Driscolls standing along the wall of a historic downtown home covered in brightly colored and ever-so-slightly crooked shutters and windows.
Anniversary sessions with couples whom have already loved each other through many seasons of life always have a special sweetness to me because while they still have the future to look forward to, couples like the Driscolls carry an ease and confidence from years spent together that glows in front of my camera.
