I met Mark and Alicia for their Jefferson Memorial engagement session downtown DC last week. We started at Capitol Hill and ended with a beautiful sunset at the Jefferson.
Mark and Alicia have the neatest story and I, crazy enough, have quite a few things in common with them. They are from opposite sides of the country, California and Maryland. They met at a camp in Manitou Springs, Colorado at Summit Ministries (where my husband worked for several years). This coming January they are getting married (on my birthday) in the beautiful Annapolis.
Mark is from Maryland and works in DC so naturally we chose to do their engagement session in Capitol Hill and then at the Jefferson Memorial. They were a blast to photograph and I can not wait for their beautiful wedding in January.
