Gloria and Jameson’s Sneak Peak | Patriot’s Point Links Wedding | Charleston Wedding Photographer

There’s just something so quintessentially charming about June weddings, especially when they’re weddings in South Carolina! The combination of palm trees, sticky humidity (and boy was this true), and laid-back atmosphere makes for the most romantic environment, which is something I always try to take advantage of as a Charleston wedding photographer. And when all of this is combined with the sweetest couple and most beautiful wedding, my job gets even better!

Gloria and Jameson’s June Charleston wedding was definitely quintessentially charming. The couple shares such history that makes for a really wonderful love story. They initially met through mutual friends and connected on social media, and a few years passed with little thought of one another. But when they reconnected and really began talking, sparks flew! They became fast friends and talked on the phone for hours at a time until they could see each other in person again. They quickly built a solid foundation in their relationship, began dating, and fell into a rhythm just “doing life” together. College graduations, a cross-country move, many date nights, and the construction of a dream home later… you could say the rest was history!

The couple chose a classic South Carolina venue, and the Pavilion at Patriot’s Point Links wedding was the perfect mix of joyful and classy. Gloria described her vision for her wedding as a combination of nautical, semi-rustic, and semi-formal, which she executed beautifully. Because their venue overlooked the Charleston Harbor, the nautical vibes were so fitting.

Gloria and Jameson chose a fresh palette of navy, coral, and gold. Their colors carried through in their wedding party attire, reception décor, and florals. Gloria looked incredible in her one-of-a-kind dress, and Jameson complimented her perfectly in his handsome groom ensemble.

It was absolutely clear that they care deeply for each other and for everyone in attendance. Gloria mentioned that she was most looking forward to seeing Jameson as she walked down the aisle, and believe me, his reaction was so genuine (even some tears were shed)! They shared so many joyful moments together and with their guests, dancing and celebrating late into the night!

Thank you so much for letting me be part of your celebration, Jameson and Gloria!
