Today I get to share with y’all a brilliantly colorful Rawlings Conservatory engagement session that I had the pleasure of doing for the lovely couple Hannah and Mike in Baltimore. Built in 1888, this botanical conservatory is a breathtaking architectural achievement resting in historic Druid Hill Park. It is the second-oldest Victorian glass house in America, and altogether a perfectly grand (and surprisingly fun and whimsical) location for an engagement shoot.
Mike and Hannah were radiant walking and sharing sweet moments among the glowing pink, poppy-red and yellow blossoms on the conservatory grounds, and the tropical greens blooming indoors beautifully complemented Hannah’s blue dress. I love the fun shots that were taken in front of the massive clusters of cacti, but by far the most breathtaking moments are of Hannah and Mike standing peacefully together outside against the backdrop of the magnificent glass conservatory’s floor-to-sky windows and Victorian architecture.
It was a pleasure to do an engagement session with such an elegant couple at a timeless and beautiful location, and I look forward to shooting their upcoming wedding in the Spring! I hope y’all enjoy perusing this lovely session…very happy engagement Hannah and Mike!
