Can we just take a moment to talk about how amazing it is to finally be able to enjoy outdoor sessions here in Baltimore again? What makes this warm weather even better, is the opportunity to celebrate engagements with beautiful couples like Tim and Adrienne!

Exploring Federal Hill with this stunning couple was an absolute pleasure. Their kind demeanor and genuine love for each other was evident even in the simplest moments.

Are you recently engaged and ready to start planning?

Here are a few tips to help you make the most out of your engagement photo session!

TIP 1:  Location is key!

We are incredibly blessed to have such a wide variety of natural backdrops available in this area. Take advantage of them! Do you want a nautical with the harbor in the background (like Tim and Adrienne) or maybe you’d prefer formal garden. Either way, we will work together to find the perfect location that fits your unique style.

TIP 2:  Think outside of the box.

Pinterest is absolutely incredible for inspiration when trying to figure out how to formally announce your engagement but once you’ve found your musing, try taking that idea to the next level by personalizing it in a way that represents your love story. Don’t forget to tell me all about your idea so that we can be sure to plan for the proper images.

TIP 3:  Dress for style AND comfort.

You’ve heard the old saying, “Beauty is pain.” While that may have been acceptable years ago, I want the couples I’m working with to be confident and COMFORTABLE. Why? Because when you feel good, it truly shines through. Also, I’d hate for you to feel limited during your session due to aching feet!

TIP 4:  Hire me!

I adore working with engaged couples. There’s just something about two people who are madly in love and awaiting their upcoming wedding! I want to hear all about your love story; how you met, milestones along the way, and of course, the proposal! Learning more about you helps me to capture those special moments that best represent your love story.
