Before the arrival of a first little one there is a special sweetness to be had in those last few weeks; while you eagerly anticipate their arrival you also savor the time shared alone with your partner as one chapter together ends and another begins.

Today I’d like to share with y’all the lovely Charleston senior session I spent with the gorgeous high school graduate miss Haylie. I love doing charleston senior sessions because they allow me to highlight the personality of the individual, and I enjoy capturing my client’s interactions with the camera as well as their surroundings.
Today I want to share with y’all the session I had the pleasure of spending with the dear McIntire family in their bright and airy Colorado Springs home. I have photographed this husband and wife + wildling tribe before, but this time was extra special because we had the new addition of brand-new baby Vincent (who stayed awake as much as he could and gave the camera plenty of fabulous grumpy old man looks!)
So you just gave that big “yes” answer to the special person holding some shiny bling…so now what? The beginning of your engagement is an exciting time of joyful announcements and hugging; Insta posts and pretty Pinterest boards…but it can also have a lot of “HOLY CRAP what are we getting ourselves into?!?” moments.
